Although he asked Ryan to take her home, he didn't. Neither did he apologize"Bee, where have you been? I was starting to get worried." Brooke's mother, Samantha asked. "I thought you slept over at Kate's house. Until she called asking after you. We became worried."

Nathan stood at the glass window of the hospital room. His mind kept going back to Brooke and she was doing it.
It's been a week since she ran out of him. He fished for his mobile from his pocket and looked at it.
"Damn it!" He said aloud. How can he be so careless as to not ask Brooke for her new number?
They have met on like three occasions after she left the house. But he failed to ask for her new number.
"How stupid of me." Nathan said in a low voice.
"Nathan, the doctor said I will be discharged tomorrow." Keren's voice made him turn from gazing at the glass window.
"That is good news. I am glad you are feeling better." Nathan said. He walked back and sat on a chair close to Keren's bed.
Nathan felt guilty all together. The other night at the club, had it been he didn't leave her by herself, this wouldn't have happened. But he was there making love to his ex-wife while Keren was abused on the streets.
Although he asked Ryan to take her home, he didn't. Neither did he apologize to Keren for being part of the reason that such happened to her.
"Physically, I am. But I am still traumatized by what happened. I can't sleep at night." Keren spoke in a sad tone.
"I thought the presence of the doctor and nurses would make me feel better and get some sleep., but it doesn't. It is only your presence here that makes me feel relaxed and then I get some sleep, knowing you are here."
Since the incident, Nathan made sure to check on Keren everyday. Before he goes to work and after he closes. He will be at the hospital.
"I know what will make you feel at ease again." Nathan said.
Keren was getting excited. Her plan worked really well. "What is that?" She asked.
"Finding those tugs and putting them behind bars. When you know they are no longer running freely on the street, you will feel safe again." Nathan suggested.
His suggestion only made Keren angry. That was not what she was aiming for.
"No. No... I don't want to have to face them again. And I wouldn't want people to hear what happened to me." Keren said and subs a little.
"We have to, Keren. See what they made you go through." Nathan tried to reason.
"Please, Nathan. You don't have to do that. Karma will get to them." Keren insisted.
"That is not important for now. You should focus on getting better." Nathan said. He let it be at that time. But he will definitely look into the matter and make sure those creeps were brought to justice. Because they are not apprehensive, they will go ahead and do it to other girls. So far, he wondered how many girls they have done that to. The thought of it made him sick to his stomach.
Keren on the other hand felt that was not the direction she hoped Nathan would focus on. She wanted to use this opportunity to get even more closer to him. She decided to go straight to the point.
"What would make me feel safe now is to be by your side. Can I please come stay with you? At least until I get better?"
